Jason Green
Welcome!

Welcome to my website. My name is Jason Green and I'm a Surgical Technologist from NY. I'm 32 yrs old and have lived in this state most of my life. Needless to say, I need to travel more often. I survived, and was diagnosed with, testicular cancer on July 26, 2002. I have a BA in English Writing Arts from SUNY Oswego and recently published my first book of poetry written before 2004.
I can honestly say that I've spent most of my 32 years a single bachelor. It's been fun at times (though lonely as well) and quite a learning experience. I've loved and been hurt. But I've always wanted a family and seeing 40 looming over the hill is somewhat unsettling. My blessed opportunity to have a family came in early 2009 after much soul searching. My sister was unable to care for her child born Sept. 30, 2008. He went into foster care and I slowly started to see my family fall apart. I would have felt guilty the rest of my life if I had let him be adopted out. Being the only one able to take him in, I sacrificed my freedom. I fought to get him back in our family and was awarded sole legal and physical custody. I'm now Uncle Dad! A single parent! A single father. Thinking and living for two. While it's definately no picnic, I would do it all over again if I had to. I'm treading new waters and writing a new chapter in my life. This website is my home and platform for most of it.
